Nikko Tour Itinerary

1. 5 Temples Walk

Experience a serene journey through a lush forest containing important shrines and temples, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

– Toshogu + 5 Stories Pagoda

Explore the Toshogu Shrine, dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Discover the iconic 5-story Pagoda.

Admire the remains of Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Encounter the famous “Three Wise Monkeys,” symbolizing see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.

– Rinnoji

Visit Rinnoji, founded by Shodo Shonin, the Buddhist monk who introduced Buddhism to Nikko in the 8th century.

– Futarasan

Explore Futarasan Shrine, dedicated to the deities of Nikko’s three most sacred mountains: Mt. Nantai, Mt. Nyoho, and Mt. Taro.

– Taiyuin

Visit Futarasan Jinja Chugurushi, a sub-shrine of the main Futarasan Jinja, located on the shores of Chuzenji Lake.
