Custom Tokyo Private Tours

Crowds and illuminated advertising screens around Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo.

Have a list of places you want to see, or a day that needs to fit around other plans? A custom Tokyo private tour lets you discuss a route around your interests, available time and pickup location. Travel in a private vehicle with an English-speaking chauffeur, then explore each attraction at your own pace.

Request a custom Tokyo itinerary with your date and preferred sights. If you already like the standard city route, you can go directly to the one-day Tokyo tour booking page.

Start with the places that matter to you

Tell us your must-see stops and which places are optional. Your interests may include temples, markets, shopping streets, city views or neighbourhoods you have not explored before. Giving the team a short priority list is more useful than trying to fit every Tokyo landmark into one day.

Include any attraction tickets, meal reservations or appointments that have a fixed time. The itinerary can then be planned around those commitments, with the remaining stops considered in a practical order.

Share your available time and pickup address

Send the full address of your hotel or proposed meeting point, plus the time you can start and when you need to finish. If you want to be dropped somewhere different, include that address too. Hotel changes and luggage should be mentioned at the enquiry stage so the vehicle and route can be assessed together.

Our standard one-day Tokyo tour lists approximately seven to nine hours, depending on the route and traffic. A custom plan must be confirmed for the time available. Requesting fewer stops can give you more time for photographs, browsing and breaks.

Choose how much walking support you need

Your chauffeur shares commentary in the vehicle between stops. You then visit the attractions independently. If you would like a guide to accompany you on foot, ask for an optional walking guide. This costs extra and is subject to availability.

Tell us about walking preferences and mobility requirements before booking. Some temples, markets and viewpoints involve paths, crowds or steps. The team can consider the route with you, but a private car should not be taken as confirmation that every attraction is step-free.

A second day or a destination outside Tokyo

If you have more places than one day can comfortably cover, review the two-day Tokyo tour and discuss how to divide your interests. If your priority is scenery outside the city, the Mount Fuji private tour or Nikko private tour may be a better starting point.

A day trip outside Tokyo needs a different travel allowance. Send your preferred destination before combining it with city stops, so the team can assess whether the plan is practical.

Send your custom tour enquiry

Tell us your travel date, group size and must-see stops, together with your pickup address, available hours and any fixed bookings. Ask the team to confirm the itinerary, vehicle, inclusions and charges before finalising. Attraction tickets, meals and an optional walking guide should be checked against the selected booking rather than assumed to be included.
